The World Series of Poker Circuit event continues this month with Caesars Palace in Las Vegas being the latest stop. This is the very first time that this particular poker tour has taken place in Las Vegas which precedes the WSOP Circuit National Championship which is also taking place at Caesars Palace at the end of next month. The tournament being held at this world famous casino consists of 10 events with the main event being held on April 28th. Players will spend 2 days grappling for the money and the gold ring at the $1500 no limit hold’em main event ending on April 30th.
There are satellites for the main event being held on Wednesday April 27th. There will be a $200 stimulus satellite at noon on 27th April where the top 5 players will win a seat into the coveted main event. There will be a $160 satellite held at 4pm the same day and then just one hour later a $240 mega satellite. A $160 super satellite at 7pm the same day will conclude the opportunities for players to win a seat into the main event.
This is a very popular event for poker professionals based in Las Vegas. In fact last year the tournament included Matt Stout, Aaron Been, Brock Parker and Andrew Lichtenberger. It was Lichtenberger who won the event last year taking the gold ring and just over $190,000 for his trouble.
