Kyle Cartwright Wins His First Major Title

Congratulations are in order for Kyle Cartwright who has just won his first major poker title. Throwing off 449 players the poker pro was able to swoop to victory at the World Series of Poker Circuit $1500 no limit holdem main event. This tournament took place in Harrah’s Casino in the US city of St Louis. He arrived at the final table with a good chip lead over the other players and fortunately for him was able to maintain that lead throughout. His efforts have been rewarded handsomely with $142,290 of prize money which he takes away along with a gold ring and a seat into the WSOP main event being held later on this year in Las Vegas. Being his first major event win, this is even more special for Cartwright who was delighted to go all the way. It was tough competition from the start, but nevertheless Cartwright was able to hold firm.

Cartwright has in fact had a very good run at the WSOP Circuit event this year, taking home not 1 but 3 gold rings altogether. He also took down 2 other tournaments at the Tunica World Series of Poker Circuit earlier on in the year. His total winnings from these 2 events have contributed another $56,000 in tournament winnings into his bankroll. Cartwright has certainly done himself proud this year and with these solid wins under his belt he will undoubtedly go on to win more and more events over the coming years. We will keep an eye on Cartwright to see how he progresses during the next few years
